The TransiTempII is a low cost, splash proof temperature data logger featuring a highly precise semiconductor temperature sensor and an ABS plastic enclosure. This affordable, N.I.S.T. trace¬able device is ideal for monitoring and recording the temperature of all types of perishable products, including food items and medical/pharmaceutical goods, both in storage and in transit. Program the TransiTempII for an immediate start or a delayed start for up to 30 days. The device can also be started by use of a magnetic wand. Because there are no buttons on this logger, there is no risk of it being accidentally stopped or started. The reading rate can be set anywhere between once every five seconds to once every thirty minutes. The total reading capacity of the TransiTempII is 32,767 data points, one of the highest reading limits of all such loggers on the market today. For increased understanding of events that impact recorded temperatures, users can “mark” data points with a quick wave of the magnetic wand. It has a custom molded case with a handle for convenient attachment and comes in single and multi-use versions. This compact, portable, easy to use device will measure and record data for up to 8,191 measurements. The storage medium is non-volatile solid state memory, providing maximum data security even if the battery becomes discharged. The device can be started from a computer or by holding down the recessed push button. Dual LED’s provide device status and alarm condition for immediate validation when received. The green LED indicator blinks four times when the device has been started. It continues to blink in ten second intervals while the device is logging. If an alarm condition occurs, the red LED indicator blinks in ten second intervals. The red LED blinks four times when the device stops taking data. The TransiTemp-EC makes data retrieval quick and easy. Simply plug it in to an empty COM or USB port and the data can be offloaded and analyzed or archived with our powerful MadgeTech Data Logger Software.
